Shaggy - Jamaica's living legend, THELAST SUPPER AT "JAMAICA ME KRAZY".
Just recently, Shaggy and crew were greeted at airport by consul of
Jamaica, Mr. Danny Wilson, manager of Jamaica Me Krazy Restaurant. Concert
promoters and "Choose A Name" bar owners gave Shaggy and crew the option to
CHOOSE their own name, meaning eat anywhere on Aruba, outside their Radisson
Hotel home. They chose "Jamaica Me Krazy Restaurant" where they had meals, before
the show. They came back for their last meal on Irie Aruba, the following day.
Wilson is grateful to Shaggy's Manager, Robert Livingston of Big Yard music group
Ltd., and Paul Lee, the band's Road Manager, for the opportunity of feeding the star.
THe Jamaican Grammy Award Winner gave a super star !hour and 50 minutes
performance "non stop Riddim" including tracks from his new album "Hey Sexy Lady" to be
released in October 2002. The public of Aruba will never forget his dazzling
performance in "Angel", "It wasn't me", "Hot Shot" and many more.
Band members send a Big-Up to "Jamaica Me Krazy Restaurant". Shaggy was so pleased that
he even convinced Aruba's No.1 D.J. and MC, Ruben Garcia, to drop in for a bite.
SHaggy dropped to eat and pay "respect" to "The Jamaica Honorary Consul" headquartered
at "Jamaica Me Krazy". Renewing his appetite for some home cooking from "yard", was an
extra bonus.
The Superstar in his humble way took time out to have photo sessions and autograph singing
with staff members of Jamaica Me Krazy and the other restaurant patrons.
